Nach van Bach 2012 / Night of Bach 2012

The infamous night of Bach sheds a 21st century light on this great master, whois often said to have shaped classical music as we know it.

A nightly tour through the city centre of The Hague with startling performances in unusual places is to be expected. A tattoo shop, light shows and flamenco dancers were part of previous editions of the Night of Bach.

After an idea of organist Aart Bergwerff, director/artist Karel de Rooij and Aart Bergwerff created once again a great night of high quality performances, full of humor and absurdism but always stylish. 

This phenomenal night should not be missed by anyone !

The Night of Bach:  Friday June 15, 2012,  starts at 21.38 hrs at Gotische Zaal in The Hague, and lasts till after midnight.
